Bizarre Laws You Better Be Aware Of If You Want To Stay Out Of Trouble

If you want to make sure you’re an upstanding citizen and uphold the law at all times, then you’re going to want to be aware of some of the bizarre laws here. They might sound crazy, but breaking them could mean ending up in trouble. Take a look and see what you need to avoid:

Never Feed Garbage To A Pig In Arizona

You’ll need a permit if you want to feed garbage to a pig in Arizona. You can feed your own household garbage to your own pigs without the permit, though, so there’s that! No registering at a hotel under a fake name, either – whether you’ve been feeding garbage to pigs or not.

Watch Where You Beep Your Horn

You know sometimes you just get annoyed with the driver in front of you and let them know it by honking your horn – don’t do it in front of a sandwich shop in Arkansas. This is a violation of the law and could land you in hot water.

Watch Out For Silly String In Connecticut

No silly string in Southington unless you’re using it in the privacy of your home.

Don’t Drink On The Beach In Hawaii

You can’t drink on the beach in Hawaii, and you can’t have more than one drink in front of you at one time, either. Sorry, party people! Technically you can do it in the ocean, but it could make drinking a little difficult.

Don’t Fall Asleep While Buying Cheese

In Illinois, make sure you’re fully alert when you head to the cheese shop. If you fall asleep while buying cheese, you’re basically a criminal and could be prosecuted for doing it. Take a nap before you buy your food shopping.

Don’t Abandon Your Stage Performance

If you start performing onstage in Montana, you better be ready to give that performance your all with a flourishing finish. You are committing to finishing that performance on stage – and burlesque dancer Jimmy Lee Laedeke paid the price when he violated this law. Making a criminal appeal for not finishing your stage performance might sound cuckoo, but they take it very seriously in Montana.

Don’t Wear A Mask In Cali

In Walnut City, California, you can’t wear a mask or another type of costume. You should rethink your Halloween costume, then! If you absolutely have to dress up, you may need to get permission from the sheriff – although that sounds like a lot of work. Maybe just go trick or treating somewhere else.

Netflix and Chill..Or Not

In Tennessee, it is actually illegal to use the Netflix account of somebody else. That means signing out of your ex’s account posthaste before you get in trouble with the law. The scary thing is, many people are probably doing this without even realizing that it’s a crime. Quick, get the word out!

What do you think of these bizarre laws, and how many of them are you guilty of breaking? Leave a comment!
