How To Be A Creative In The Digital Age

Image by Patrick Tomasso on Unsplash There’s a common stereotype that making good money as an artist is nearly impossible. At least not while you’re alive. That might have been true in the days of Vincent Van Gogh and Johannes Vermeer. But definitely not the case in today’s vibrant digital age when building a solid follower (and customer!) base is more than realistic. If you’ve done the calculations and seen how much it costs to publish a book then you might be put off from pursuing a creative path in the publishing industry. As a writer, be it of prose, theater, music, or otherwise, you need to make sure that you have a process to find your inspiration, as much as anything else. I do music because it gets something out of my system. If I go too long without creating some sounds, I get antsy. So I’m glad to have finally finished something. Granted, all of this material was recorded pre-Covid. It just took me that long to put it all together — not because it was difficult, but because my head just wasn’t in it. Such has been Covid life. But it’s finished, and I’m happy with it. These are guitar soundscapes and ambient drones, meant for the background or, if you just want to clear your head, for…

One of the most popular insurance questions around is the age-old, “why are my insurance rates going up?” When it comes to home insurance, that same question has only ever been reiterated for the last few years. Let’s dig in. How the pandemic impacted home insurance and premiums. The pandemic caused a number of unexpected closures in many industries, including the construction sector. The supply chain saw massive disruptions, with chip shortages resulting in a…
