It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) is a bonafide classic

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) has long been a favorite. First saw it as a kid, and despite its all-star cast of comedians largely being from before my time, it drew me in and kept me there for all its 3-hour+ running time. I was interviewed for the new Stray Pointers podcast

Writer and tech whiz Jim Lawless has recently launched a new podcast interview series, Stray Pointers, and I was honored and delighted to be his first guest. Had a chance to discuss how I got into writing, what drives creative projects, my books, and more. It was a great experience. Jim is a great interviewer and I look forward to seeing who else he talks to in the days and weeks (and hopefully months and years) ahead. For now, you can listen to my interview here.

Here is my interview: And here is the full episode, which is worth watching. They do a great job of diving into these topics: My book, The Films of Martin Scorsese: Gangsters, Greed, and Guilt, is due out September 20 of this year via Rowman & Littlefield. It is now available for pre-order. Learn more about it here.

An interview with yours truly on The Walking Dead, from 94.3 The Point

I recently had an opportunity to sit down with Nicole Murray from 94.3 The Point, a radio station here in New Jersey. I was in to talk about The Walking Dead (’cause a few years back I independently published a book on the show, natch). If you want to take a look — and you should, because my shirt is a wonderful shade of blue — then you know what to do.
