Many years back, I wanted to explore the idea of writing a bunch of different comic stories in a bunch of different styles with a bunch of different artists. The result was two comic anthologies, Pitched! and Pitched! Vol. 2. Across those two anthologies, a large array of talented collaborators and I did stories in varied genres, written and drawn in varied styles. In my head, at least. After two comic anthologies, both of which I'm very proud -- thanks to my collaborators, Pitched! and Pitched! 2 were quite awesome -- it would be natural to assume a third is on its way. And in fact, as I've posted, Pitched! 3 was at one time in progress. Key words being "at one time." Life happens. The answer is yes. Not ready to make a huge splash or anything, but I've very (very) slowly started getting the gears in motion for a third comic anthology. We've got some stories lined up, some excellent artists, and it's starting to take shape. So that's fun.

If you were interested in that little comics anthology I wrote last year (with the help of a slew of talented artists) but still hadn't gotten around to getting a copy, good news. It's now available via lulu.com. I've gotten my copy and can vouch for its quality. Nice, glossy cover, strong binding, and decent paper quality. I'll be up front: happy as I was with the quality of the work ComiXpress did (and I was), I got some complaints about slow order fulfillment. Excellent quality on the product, but it's true. A few orders were slow to be fulfilled.…
