Contributed post Image source Moving overseas has to be one of those things we’ve all dreamed about at some time or another in our lives. It may have been a fleeting thought just recently or it might be something that has niggled away at the back of your head for some years now. The reason we say this is because so many people move abroad every year. What we call these people is a little biased, but whether you use the word immigrants or expats is up to you. The point is, more and more people are choosing to advance their life experiences by hopping overseas and broadening their horizons. It could be that the chance to work in a foreign country has presented itself;…

The new Lorde record is a surprising dose of satisfaction cloaked in misleading party garb. I was among those totally sucked into the Lorde orbit when she first hit the scene a few years back. “Royals” was catchy, sure, but the full record was miles better than one catchy single, packed with minimalist music, subversive lyrics of the kind only a teen could write – and while that sounds like a subtle insult, it’s not – and anti-pop pop. It would be an outrage to let misinformation float around beer circles, just an OUTRAGE, so rather than risk hordes of beer nerds taking to the streets or me having a small conniption or panic attack or something after hearing someone get something wrong about beer (see also), I’m going to debunk a few common beer myths that get passed around even in today’s Beer! Beer! Beer! world. Because the only thing better than sharing your love for something like beer, hopefully with some good friends, is getting a chance to play “I told you so” and know-it-all for faceless Internet people. (I might be exaggerating. Maybe.) Beer In A Hot Car Will Skunk This one goes back to just about…

Contributed Post Image Source Having a garden gives you your own private escape into nature where you can watch the birds and squirrels and foxes and other wonderful wildlife. However, gardens also attract other unwanted critters. These ‘pests’ are the types that want to eat your plants or bite and sting you or steal food from your kitchen. Getting rid of them may require hiring pest control, such as by visiting a site like https://www.pestcontrolexperts.com/local/california/fresno/, but there are many DIY approaches to getting rid of such pests. Here are a few ways of getting rid of the most common critters in the garden. Slugs and snails These slimy intruders are the bane of anyone that owns a vegetable patch. There are plenty of pesticides that…

Image Link Health is a fascinating, time consuming somewhat irritating subject. Let me explain. One of the most fascinating things about health is that the human body is like a machine. It has lots of little bits and pieces with cogs turning that make it run. That’s pretty cool, but what’s irritating is that like a machine, parts break down and may stop working completely. Now, that in itself is just a fact of life. But there are some cases where things go wrong, and the doctor has no idea what causes them. When a machine breaks down, there’s always a reason, a cause. We can discover that cause because we know that somewhere out there’s the producer or developer that created that machine. But,…
