Two nerds with beer (one of them me) beat the Kirk vs. Picard horse

Hours in the Attic debuts a new segment this week called “Nerd Fight,” which is … well, you can guess what it is. And what better way to kick it off than with a playful take on the debate nerds have been gnashing their teeth about since The Next Generation debuted? Yep, Kirk vs. Picard, with a dash of Kirk vs. Han Solo thrown in for good measure. Watch, and when you’re done check out my Star Trek marathon:

I was a guest on the Geek*E podcast, take a listen!

If you’ve seen the ridiculous Youtube videos I’ve been doing with Tig from Nerd Out With Me, I’m sorry. It’s not my fault. And yet I’m going to go ahead and assault your senses once more – but thankfully, you won’t have to SEE me this time. Along with Tig, I was recently a guest on the Geek*E Podcast. We talked about Thomas the Tank Engine, Lite-Bright, why Red Dawn is a sequel to Dirty Dancing, and Strawberry Shortcake (the character, not the food). Plus favorite ’80s movies and TV shows you want to show to other people, ’80s toys I want to buy, and Big Trouble in Little China. So check it out. Click and listen: Geek*E: Geek Nostalgia

It’s purposely over the top, but also completely  sincere: The Empire Strikes Back Let’s cut right to the chase: I fall into the camp that declares The Empire Strikes Back the best of the Star Wars films. Which means I also fall into the camp of people who actually have an opinion regarding what the best Star Wars film is. Which means some of you are probably surfing off to another page…
