I love the art and photography of Ian Sokoliwski. His sense for color, staging, and composition is outstanding, and his cyberpunk, gothic and steampunk art brings new worlds to life. I was honored to work with him on a story in Pitched 2, and just as thrilled when he asked if some of my music could accompany montages of his work. I happily said yes. Take a look at his killer artwork, accompanied by “Without Waking” and “Spinning Lecterns,” both from my m2 project:

Here is another bit o’ preview art from my upcoming comics anthology. The work is by Artist Unnamed and is for an adaptation of a short story I wrote called The Last Shot. It is, obviously, a western. These are early pencils. Enjoy.
Last time I showed you some pencils from a story slated for my upcoming comic anthology. This time, some character sketches. These are concept sketches for a story co-created with Robert Clayton Cooke called “The Slugs Are All Right”. It’s a story about … well, I think the sketches give you an idea of where we’re going with this: This one is sure to be good, bizarre fun. Plans are for the anthology — a dozen stories in all by a dozen different artists, all written by yours truly — to be available for purchase this summer.
Thirteen stories by 12 different artists. Lots of variety. Over 100 pages of comic goodness coming this summer. Here is the first sneak peek. This page was drawn by the excellent Rick Lundeen: More preview pages to come.
