Eric is the co-author of A Year of Hitchcock: 52 Weeks with the Master of Suspense (Scarecrow Press, 2009) and the creator of the Pitched! graphic novel anthology. When not working as news editor for a family of six weekly newspapers in central New Jersey, a position he has held for 10 years, he does freelance writing on a wide range of topics. His work has appeared in Weird Tales, Boston Literary Magazine, and Currents magazine, among others, as well as on websites such as PopThought and DVDinmyPants. He has written hundreds of news articles, features, editorials, and columns. Eric has also written PR and tried his hand at video game reviews.
In between bouts of clacking at the keyboard, he records noisy and experimental music for his own amusement, reads and reviews graphic novels for no reason at all, and wastes far too much time on Facebook and Twitter. He lives at the Jersey Shore with his wife and son.
Eric recently finished a middle grade fantasy novel written in the spirit of Lloyd Alexander's Prydain Chronicles, is pitching his book on the history of the Lakehurst/Manchester area famous for the Hindenburg disaster, and is currently writing a dystopian science fiction novel that brings together influences such as Philip K. Dick, George Orwell, the television show Lost, and the films of Stephen Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. |
